Described as the ‘Pear of Africa’ by Winston Churchill, Uganda, is better known for its production of Robustathan Arabica. This single origin Ugandan coffee is produced in Kisinga next to the Rwenzoris, beautifully nicknamed the Mountains of the Moon. Higher altitudes, fertile soils and plentiful rainfall make perfect conditions to produce higher grade arabica beans.
The mountains are home to the Bokonzo tribe who have worked their land for centuries.
Each farm is around one hectare and owned individually, where each farm comes together at a central washing station to process their crop.
